What did your child choose to make for their media project? Are they going to do a vlog, blog or create graphic designed posters to demonstrate their knowledge this year?
The goal of today's project is not actually the content, but to get familiar with the software or website they have chosen to use.
Step 1: Set up the media project that your child plans to use and let them play with it and explore how to use it. For instance, if making a blog, choose the name and design. Learn how to add text and pictures.
Step 2: Using your worksheets from day 1, create a media project about the Northeast states. At minimum, it must include:
A title
A list of the states
One photo or map from the Northeast
It is important to use public domain photos or free stock photos, so you aren’t using someone else’s copyrighted artwork. A good website for public domain photos is free-images.com. There are many websites for free stock photos. I like pexels.com and pixabay.com. To learn more about copyrights watch BrainPOP Copyright
